Yoro and Antony Return to Manchester United Training
Manchester United receive a major boost with Leny Yoro and Antony returning to training after injuries. Yoro fractured his metatarsal in pre-season, while Antony faced an ankle issue from a Europa League match.
Manchester United have been significantly boosted by the return of both Leny Yoro and Antony to first-team training, according to journalist Chris Wheeler from the Daily Mail.
The French center-back, Yoro, has been out of action since he fractured his metatarsal during a pre-season friendly match against Arsenal in the United States. He has now returned to Carrington to join his teammates for the first time since his injury.
Meanwhile, Antony, who suffered an ankle injury and was stretchered off during a Europa League match against Fenerbahce last month, has also returned, offering a much-needed boost for interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Manchester United are set to play against the Greek team PAOK Thessaloniki in their fourth Europa League match of the season on Thursday. Van Nistelrooy is eager to achieve his first victory in the competition after having drawn with Fenerbahce, FC Porto, and Twente earlier in the campaign.
While Yoro's return might be premature for Thursday's match due to his prolonged absence from playing, there is optimism that he could be ready for the Premier League game against Leicester City on Sunday.
